An obvious play in the domain market, my acquisition reason and thought process was that this domain writes it's own tagline, "the last name in domains." Upsides are it is short, truly pronounceable, the market is obvious and it is memorable.
Estibot coughs up $0 USD, not recognizing its potential market and identifies insurance-related "Related Domains For Sale." A search on keyword "domains" at Sedo produces a large variety of nearby combinations from 12domains.com for $150 to domainmarket.com for $9,999,888. According to domaintools domains.net was recently offered for $212,499 (now it redirects to a "hire a Sedo broker" page). You can always get worlddomainseller.com for a cool $20mil and zomains.com is available at .net, .org, .info and .biz and .us

The end-user would be a domainer so would recognize it's value. If you must know its age I purchased it 2016-12-02. The owner before me had it for approximately a year (was it you?) and before that, someone had it as of 2008-03-28 and held it until sometime in 2015.
