It's already in the U.S. and there are 36 cases. The WHO will be declaring a Public Health Emergency next week, and possibly a Pandemic soon after. Not sure what your domain is worth, but since there won't be a vaccine for around a decade from now, you might as well hold on to it for awhile. I ended up grabbing ZikaHelp.com and already put a site up. The Zika Names went fast.

Ya it's a weird one. I'll keep people posted here the best way I can, as I'm not sure where to post that sort of information. I've been tracking these things for a decade (and the next pandemic, hence my handle here) on my site, and if you ever want the latest breaking news on it, you can always pop in at www.PandemicTalk.com (forum). We post info before it hits the mainstream news. I was telling everybody a week ago the WHO would declare a Global Health Emergency this week. Just a crazy hobby, lol.

I have zikaforum.com, but I got that because I don't want anyone else to compete with my forum at pandemictalk.com. Have had my forum up and running tracking the next pandemic since 2005. That's during a time when nobody really knew the term pandemic. I have zikaforum.com forwarded to my forum until I figure out what I'm going to do with it or sell it.

I still think ZikaHelp.com will be a big name.

ZikaPandemic.info is pretty good, but you need for the WHO to declare an official pandemic. Dr. Fauci has publicly said it was, but you need for the WHO to make it official for the names to be worth something. You also need some additional human-to-human transmission cases like we saw in Dallas a couple days ago. Technically this already meets the criteria for a pandemic. What can I say, this happens to be my niche of expertise, lol.

I also think the asymptomatic (people that have no symptoms) are also capable of spreading the virus as silent carriers. All of this will probably come out soon. The Olympics will really ignite this thing.

So far, authorities have said sexual transmission is rare, but last year they would have said any case of Zika was rare, too.

It makes for uncomfortable reading.

It says they had suspected this virus back in 2008. Most people that have been affected was traveling from other country. Countries that are hit the most. It says Brazil seem the one got hit the worst. Those babies looks like mosquitos small and deformed. So sorry about this issues...
