I opted a very colorful layout to be distinguished among the often bland internet. The layout naturally refers to the name Yumball (variant of gumball), as in having the archetype of a "gumball" in the background, also anarchy of the menu, bouncing look.

What's your opinion about it, not too green?

Thnx in advance

Well,
Apart from the fact that it's in Dutch, very professional, simple, and green.

I like it a lot, but the design doesnt look like it has room to spread out.

bold and bright - you certainly stand out and it's a great design. i'd def agree with the guy who mentions the idea of how you're going to develop it tho'. you're v short of space and the design def don't lend itself to adding new content. other than that, it catches they eye - and that is half the battle.

That is true but I this is my personal website, I know perfectly how much content it will contain so lacking flexibility shouldn't pose a problem.
If it however would become a problem, I can always work with a scroller :) (something in flash perhaps)

i like it! However, as with all my sites, I would have used a more silvery/metalic colour. But good anyway

i like the colour, and the main design, but it's 90% of image there, it could be some problem for peoples with low connection.

I would say, to open up your potential market, translate the text into English too.

No...My services are directed towards Flemish customers so why would I bother having an English section? I want potential clients to feel "at home" when they visit my site.

Ok, not a problem....
Just thought that it may be to your advantage to do so. I always think that its bad to limit yourself. You have a good looking website, but if an English speaking webmaster(of which there are many) wants to buy from you, then they may find it hard to navigate through your site.

You seem to speak good English, why not have an option to translate into English? Or do it automatically via IP location? That way no-one will know anyway. Flemish customers will feel "at home" and English customers will be far more likely to buy from you....

It was only a suggestion, at the end of the day business is not about making people "feel at home" its about taking the route which earns you the most $ (ยฃ Euros etc) IMO.

Well I think I'll be more successful if they see me as the webdesigner "next door" :)

Think honestly now, no one is going to come to you because you have a "home" feeling, they will come to you because of support, reliability, and quality. If you have all of these things the customers will come pouring in. Only good can come out of offering your services to English speakers.
