.tv Youtube restricting video viewing by region?

I was trying to watch a music video, but I got a "Video is not available in your country" message.
I live in Canada btw.

I really hope huge video websites are not going to follow Hulu's video restriction by region feature.

Did/Does anyone here know about this restriction and why this limitation is imposed?
