Your thoughts on affiliate sites?

What are some of the most successful affiliate sites? Are they still popular? Do you own any? If so, please feel free to share details. Cheers

I would like to know this too. I have seen people mention using domains they picked up for flipping, but throw an affiliate site up to monitize it until it sells. Been wondering about advice in this also.

There are some massively successful affiliate sites out there think MoneySavingExpert.com, and TheWireCutter.com

Like anything the key is relevance. If you can put together a good affiliate site with plenty of good content and market it "consistently" you should do fairly well from it.

If however you enter a saturated niche, with poor content and don't market it, it will be a total waste of time
