Arjun says it all!
I agree with everything he has said, and I have a few other points to highlight and a couple tips.
The site theme is well laid out, and is very professional looking, however. It seems a little, well, too gray! You need to convey more than just professionalism and quality when designing your site. You need to convey an emotion too, and too much use of the color gray conveys boredom and lack of interest. It speaks that this site is dead -- even though you might be adding content on a daily basis. Add some color to it and get rid of some of the gray
That does not mean you need to go color crazy either. Just try to find a balance.
Second, you have two areas on the main page to login. One under the Account tab which ajax to a log in screen, and a second where you click Log in. Need only one. Having both is not needed and creates duplication. We need to convey the DRY method when developing -- Don't Repeat Yourself
The titles on the main page really needs to be fixed. I know Arjun mentioned this, and while it may seem like a small glitch: it is not! This is a glitch that is very visible to the reader and will sub-consciously convey to the reader that you do not provide quality in your business tips. If you over look this small glitch then why should they trust your tips when it comes to SEO which deals with computers too?
I like the Google ads at the bottom. Very nicely placed
The feature post image is stretched. Need to fix that.
On the post page, the Google ad is too close to the content. When it is a banner it touches the content. Give it some margin space there.
I love the bookmark icons you use! Very large and not intrusive. They look great on this site and keep everything looking professional
Not really a design flaw, but here is a plugin suggestion for your blog. Add a 'notify me of new comments' check mark on the comments section. This will get you some return visitors for when you or other people reply to comments
Speaking of visitors, well, it is nice to be able to subscribe to your blog RSS via email, but give them a reason. Providing great content is one reason and will be the main reason for signing up to your RSS, however. Let's add a mailing list subscription too, and give them some free exclusive content that they can only get if they subscribe to your mailing list. Maybe an ebook that you wrote? Maybe a series of tips and business suggestions via an email series? Maybe something special and unique that other people are not offering? Then, when you get them subscribed keep giving them unique content and bonuses that they could not get unless they continue to be a part of your list.
Also, you could do the same with your twitter followers! Give them special offers and content that they will only know about if they are part of your twitter followers
You can lots of fun with this! Just come up with some unique stuff that you could offer that goes along with your blog and you will get followers and repeat visitors.
Ok I suppose that is it for now
