Your Special Skills

We've all got unique talents and things we're great at.
Why should we hire someone that isn't a peer when we can easily find a peer that may be just as good or better then hiring a professional.

I think we should all list our talents that we may be-able to use, post portfolios, post examples etc.
(This isn't a way to advertise hosting, scripts, etc)

I can code wordpress themes, design to save my life :p and can easily write an article on a topic that I'm well opinionated about.

What can you do, NP Teens?

Well compared to you lot, not much. But I am better than anyone I know in real life at computers etc.

I can do: Programming, Designing, Scripting, Web Development, Write Articles, Photography..

I try to dabble in all fields, but never mastered one thing

Snap! I'm practically exactly the same as you!

I'm good at just about everything, although my design and development are rather shonky. I'm also good at problem solving, though.

Still, just like you, I've never exactly become a master at any one thing :(

I can write: HTML (most), PHP (basics, learning more as i use)), C++ (Basics), AS (basic)
Specialist applications that i work with: Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Flash, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, All Office Suite, SolidWorks (CAD), ProDesktop (CAD).
I am starting in photography and would love an SLR.
I have designed many sites for myself and others either free or professionally.

I am always looking for work in:
-Basic Websites (by basic i mean a nice clean layout with no advanced php or databases, i can do but it is limited so i am better of just sticking to basics when it comes to professional!)
-Flash animations/Websites (I'm now learning how to make games)
-Mass DVD packaging and Casing (Design and production)
-Logos
-FTP/HTTP Hosting (very Cheap, PM for info) as low as NP$30 per gigabyte per year
-Systems with unlimited upgrades and one off payment CMS (PHPNuke, Drupal, Joomla or TYPO3)/Forum(SMF or phpBB)/Wiki(phpWiki or TikiWiki)/Bloggs(WordPress) for NP$1200 (thats for the life of my server which is at least another 5 years and on the ones that i can i will constantly upgrade to the latest versions (opt out available)!) I recomend you have a domain but if you don't i will buy a domain with the within the NP$1200 and give you a sub-domain of it!

I like to consider myself a bit of an expert in computer hardware/maintenance. I always keep up to date on the latest hardware and can select perfect hardware for specific computer builds then build it in about an hour. I have built around 11 computers from scratch plus modifications and upgrades. Along side that I also feel confident to fix most windows based computer problems, both hardware and software related.

I am also proficient in photoshop with nearly 3 years experience. I like to think I'm reaching a peak in my webdesign freelance career at the moment with my most recent designs being at a fairly high standard and a large stack of work lined up.

To compliment my design skills I also started learning xhtml/css about a month ago. I can code a valid, basic website with no problems.

Despite my interest in the web development industry I am only in it for the money at the moment. I'm starting a course in computer game development in a few months at which time I think I might drop web development. Despite this, if for any reason game development didn't work out I will have a nice web development portfolio to fall back on.

I'm also a expert in computer hardware, I'm one of those freaks that keep up to

date with everything and spend to much money keeping my computer up to

date, although 1 hour is a little too long for a computer build, the last company

I worked for gave me a max of 30min to do builds without watercooling. I'm also

up to date with video games, politics, and science. I'm currently looking to

invest in the stock market, domain names, and get a job at bestbuy (need money!)

Edit: Plus I wanna learn some Html....
