Main Desktop PC:

Asus A8N SLI Deluxe Mobo
AMD Athlon 64 x2 4800+ Dual Core overclocked @ 2.6Ghz
2GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM
2 x 300GB Serial ATA w/ 16MB cache
nVidia GeForce 6800 GT
2 x 19" ViewSonic Monitors
All the rest...

I'm considering throwing in possibly another 2GB RAM - 4 is a nice number.
:snaphappy: I'm also considering setting up RAID 0, or RAID 5 w/ another SATA disk.

Laptop:

Around a year old now (and it's slooow!).

Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz
512MB RAM
40GB 5400RPM HD

We've got many other PC's scattered around the house. Most <2Ghz, some under 1!

So, come on, share away.

thanks Scott :) the lappy is awesome, it has everything I need. Powerful, yet not too big and heavy! I use it for work ONLY, web programming, database work, video/picture editing and things like that.

I highly recommend it :)

Radeon 9200 doesn't cut it - Doom 3 is mega slow!!! :tu:

well.. there are workarounds to it (i think by increasing pagefile mem and telling the game to use it as additional video mem) + RAM helps alot.

Also soft-modding your graphics card and using ATiTool to overclock helps.

DOOM 3 gave me 25-30FPS on custom settings which were quite decent.
