I'm a little peeved about this situation - more annoying than anything...

I offered $25 on a name and won. The buyer asked me to pay via 2checkout but I don't use a credit card. I told him I wanted to pay via Paypal and he sent me a PM back stating that he wanted me to pay $26 to cover fees.

I know it's only $1 more, but it's the idea of it for me.

Would you pay it?

If you feel the domain is worth $26 then pay it.

I personally don't see why the guy would require you to pay Paypal fees when they are really no more than 2checkout fees.

That is kinda weird, but I would pay the extra $1. It's not really that much of a difference in what you were willing to pay to begin with.

I think it's against PayPal's TOS to require someone to pay more to cover the fees, but if the domain is worth the extra buck, I'd pay it.

I don't mind paying an extra dollar to cover the fees. If it was like $5+ then I wouldn't pay the fees, unless the seller mentioned it in the beginning, or it was worth paying for the domain.
