Well was making a little scouting with this term and found the .info free so i've got it.

Google throw to the table 7,700,000 results for yingyang and 13,400,000 for ying yang. Thought was worthed the $2.99, what do you think guys?

Small world, I passed that up a few weeks ago when i was checking variations of opposites like zigzag, blackwhite, daynight, yingyang, etc. The .info didn't do much for me, but in retrospect maybe I should've grabbed it :P

Maybe throw up a mini-site about the meaning and history of ying and yang.

Best Domain Prices are from the following registrars:

.com name.com @$5.99

.net name.com @$5.95

.org name.com @$6.99

.info godaddy.com or ix-one.com @$0.99

Those are my findings. Feel free to correct me if wrong.

edit: oops didn't see the misspelling, still I like the domain but it would have to be developed to have any value. Good luck with it :)

you have a typo with an extra g.
it has zero value, especially being a dot info

Ummm... maybe....

But yin yang still throw 8,200,000 Google results, while ying yang 14,700,000 so I will stick with it.

Thanks for the info tho.

the proper term may be yin yang but I can guarantee you that if you ask most people they will always say ying yang so I think its better that yin :)

That's true, its Yin & Yang. But I think that its a good buy.

ying yang does get more google results, and probably searches, than yin yang, but that's largely due to the hip hop group Ying Yang Twins, rather than the eastern yin and yang symbol. You might monetize it better with hip hop stuff rather than spirituality or martial arts.
If it were yinYang.info I'd give it some good value, as I'd probably pay in the $50 - 100 range as an end user if I wanted to develop it. Many people would pay more than that, yin/yang is huge.
I think your yingyang is useable but is best for developing. Anyone who knows about yin/yang would want the correct spelling if they're dev'ing a serious site, so your name would only have value to a domainer if there's traffic, and only have value to an end user if they want a site about the hip hop group, or are developing a more informal site about yin/yang, in my opinion.
That being said, I think you might get anywhere in the x or xx range if a buyer comes along who can use it, I would think you'd at least get a few times your reg fee for it. Good luck. I did get interested right away until I backed up and saw it was a typo... so you never know :)

I'll bet if you auctioned it off here at NP, with a $10 start or so, you'd get more $ than through years of parking it. Different story if you develop it, of course.

Frankly, I dont think yingyang is typo, especially for an English language site,
as most Chinese take "Ying" the same as "Yin", YingYang is more memorable than yinyang IMO, it's a funny typo and much helpful for developing.

Thanks lot for all the ideas and comments guys.

I think I will make a minisite of it and see if the traffic flow, then if it get stable will grow in value as well.

Now, the question is, what about?, like edenCC stated, yingyang could be developed on relation to yinyang due to that chinese would accept this typo in a good % (my wife is chinese, so i know what i say ;) , anyway ill ask her family, after all she doesnt use the mandarin often anymore).

Ideas are, like always, welcome.

Thanks.
