one less e, and you would have been a very rich man.

Your porf. for $350,000 for 2221 domain names seems very well priced, if you can find a speculator with deep pockets, I think it would be a value purchase for them.

I don't have time to go throught that whole list, but I will tell you that YEEE is a solid $2k domain.

I would actually like an appraisal on all of the 4ltr .coms on the front page of www.quadnames.com. I am interested in selling the entire portfolio.http://www.quadnames.com

some really great domains in that LLLL folio, quite some are over $1k each.
Also some less premium domains in there, but I wouldnt sell the bulk for less thn $300 each domain, which makes $549k

good luck with the sale!

I scanned down the list quickly trying to take in the approximate quality of the names. I didn't see any that were 'crappy', like with a lot of vzjxq, so didn't see any I considered in the minimum price range for LLLL, which is in the $30 - 60 area. I think around 20% of the names were in the $80 - 150 price range, around 70% of them were in the $150 - 1000 range, and a good 10% of them were in the $1.5K +++ range, some of those I'm sure sold singly would bag you 3 - 5K. All estimates are reseller prices.

Some of them really stood out, I especially remember Sish.com as looking very attractive, extremely brandable and pronounceable. Also liked Owem.com -- owe 'em, or Owe Money or Owe Me - for loans, credit, financial, etc. Indn.com was killer, short for Indian but also great for 'in-dn' ('in' domain names, or .in domain names). Many great ones jumped at me like this, too many to remember and comment on, nice portfolio. Seems to be priced soberly, but I wonder if you couldn't make considerably more on the names by doing some legwork... separating the names by quality, and selling the cheaper ones in chunks of 10 or so on the forums, selling the medium ones singly or in pairs, and selling the very nice ones singly. A lot more work and time involved, but to my mind you'll have more success selling smaller chunks to many people who can afford them, than you will selling the whole portfolio to a very few who can afford it and might not want to spend that on such a large number of names to manage.

sounds like a good plan, but that takes a lot of time..
let me know if you need someone to help sell some, you'll get a better price if you don't sell them in bulk but seperate.
I'm willing to help for a small reward ;)

Very nice collection, yeee is worth at least $1k even for resellers. Don't let them go for cheap, they can very possibly make you rich in the near future.

Domains like this are very rare. I consider YEEE.com a quad premium reguardless of the letter Y.

1. The letter "E" is the most widely used letter out of the english alphabet.
2. Quad vowels and pronouncable
3. There's only 1300 side by side quad tripple letter domain combinations available per extension.
4. Your extensions is .com

$5,000 minimum...with ease.

YEEE.com is an excellent name, I'd say low-mid $X,XXX on a bad day.

However, I have to respectfully disagree with the assessment of the portfolio. While there are some amazing names that could be sold for high $X,XXX, there are plenty of double and triple premiums that lower the value considerably. For every aeeo.com there are ten domain names like btvx.com. Even if an end user were to pay $XX,XXX for that latter domain name (and I think that is a stretch), selling it in bulk is going to price you out of a potential profit, because the person who may have money to spend on one domain name cannot afford to buy the whole shebang.

$100,000 is a more reasonable price to pay in bulk. You'll take a hit on some of the bigger names, but at least you won't have to renew fchv.com for the next five or ten years.

However, I wouldn't suggest to sell it in bulk. My advice would be to break the portfolio up and get rid of everything that's not all quads. While the price of LLLL.com can only go up, it's clear that the quad premiums are going to shoot waay ahead of all other standard LLLL.COMs (i.e. not CVCV, VCVC, ABAB, etc), including triples and doubles. That way you've liquidated the lower end of your portfolio, get cash, and are keeping the really good ones so you can ask $x,xxx, xxx for the whole in a couple of years. Just don't get greedy and think you can sell the bathwater with the baby, or else all you'll be holding onto is a crying infant with a smelly diaper.
