Coupon, it use is much broader, and you can always create a sub-domain for domain.coupon if you want to target that market. If you do that, then keep the two word domain in case of mis-types.

Obviously, many names will drop because of all these almost-for-free-campaigns. I don't get why people are registering names that are not even taken in .com just because they are almost free. Just a waste of time, because they will never sell.

If I should give an advice, it would be to never buy .xyz names (for domaining purposes) that are not taken in the 5-10 most important extensions, such as com, net, org, co.uk, biz, cc, eu, cn, top and co.
