xp.com goes for $99,000 at Sedo

The great domain names auction at sedo has come to an end with XP.com going for $99,000.

Bidder 5 bid $22,500 after which Bidder 6 bid $ 50,000 :O

After which came in bidder 7 :gl:

Bidder 7 bids $60,000 >> $70,000 >> 80,000 >> 90,000 >> 99,000 .

He didn't stop until the Reserve was met .

Not really.

Occasionally, things like this happen when buyer must have that specific domain.

XP.com went cheap IMO...unless it has TM issues...then it was a good price for passing the "hot potato" off..

I think , XP.com was taken by Microsoft ! $99k for xp.com would be nothing for em and they wouldn't care about the TM issues either .
Same thing happened with SexTv.com which went for $97,500 i think . The bidder kept bidding until the Reserve was met .

Recently , OMG.com was taken by Yahoo for $80,000
