I have the domain name XGLD.com.

Date Registered: 11/14/2006 (9 years old)

I just recently checked my Sedo account which it's been linked to for many years and noticed it's been receiving pretty good traffic over the past few months - https://sedo.com/member/domaindetails.php?language=us&domain_id=17662569#ddOfferPageContent

I'm thinking this might have to do with it being a stock symbol in some foreign country - http://finance.yahoo.com/echarts?s=XGLD.L+Interactive#{"range":"5d","allowChartStacking":true}

I'll be honest, I've pretty much been out of the domain name game for 5 or so years. I've just continued to renew what I have. Any appraisals are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think these are going for mid $XXX to resellers, but maybe someone who follows LLLL.com closer can shed more light.

The basic thing that has happened is that LLLL.com without vowels or V in them have skyrocketed in value due to Chinese demand. Since you've been out of domaining for awhile, I'm not sure if you are up to date on that. I would also recommend checking out LLLLSales.com to get an idea of current prices.
