The console is officialy the XBox360, but X360 is often used to refer to the console.

Registration fee. I think it is because of 2 reasons. The first reason is that it has hacks in the name. And the second reason is because you are using x instead of xbox

Do you have evidence of a reputable site calling the unit x360? Also I see sites using xb360 as well such as xb360hacks.com It's really just a dilution of the 360 names.

I cant honestly imagine someone giving you MidXX+ undeveloped, the market of undeveloped XBox360 names is far over populated. However, if you were to find the Hacks/Mods for the new XBox360, and got the site up, running, and popular, I believe you could do very well with it, depending on design/revenue low$XXX+

Until then, I personally wouldnt buy it for more than $7 because of the hard resell.
