domain wwwdomain.com value?

Greetings,

does www???.com domains have any value? For example wwwgoogle.com or wwwgps.com? I understand that is up to main site's traffic.

Is it worth to invest for such names if site traffic is average? I think wwwgps.com traffic is pretty close what I am looking for...

If it's of www.gps.com, I'd say no. That site pulls in roughly 300 hits/day, so your typo traffic if you got wwwgps.com would be only 1 per day average.

I say this based on having owned a few wwwLLLLLL.com domains, and also based on the alexa rank of this site (7.5 million) versus my own sites, allowing me to estimate the number of hits it gets.

With more popular websites, the www domains can be very good. I owned one of a top1000 alexa site and got a constant 300-500 hits/day.
