I think this domain was very much worth registering. Hefty yearly fee but it's worth it.

It could stand for "World Wide Web Hosting Talk" where you list hosts based on location :tu:

.ht domains are not very "hot" on the domain market, especially not to resellers because of the $xxx registration fee. I doubt any resellers will be interested in this one and end-users will be very hard to find if anyone even is interested. Your only bet is development. Guess this one could work well as a URL shortener even that there are tons of those out there these days.

Short domain is cool for shortener.

And you can create "ht" as subdomain, so it will become "ht.www.ht", and user will say "what? Are you sure it is not www.ht.ht?"
