I'm new here and to the world buying and selling of domains, so if this is posted in the wrong place I apologize in advance.

If you're not a wrestling fan, to give you an idea of why I have bought this domain here's a brief explanation. WWE did something called a "brand extension/split" because they have such a large roster and to give the shows a bump in ratings. When doing this it leaves a void for a "world champion" on one of the shows and this time that show ended up being the flagship of WWE programming, "Raw".

So they created a new "world title" and to differentiate it from the "WWE World Heavyweight Championship" that's on a different show, they named it the "WWE Universal Championship". So I bought WWEUniversalChampionship.com and will likely sell it. As of now there is only a "under construction" post, so it hasn't been developed into anything yet. Being I am new to this I decided to seek advice on what it could possibly be worth and whether I should just hold onto it and build it myself.

Any advice is appreciated...

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
They will just get the reverse and call it a day. There is no exact science to this. Or they could just get the abbreviations.

Of that entire thing
Remember everything is going mobile . Big biz knows this. Who has time typing such a long url in mobile keyboards?

Fyi thanks for this info as I couldn't resist.regging

WWEUC.com
And
UCWWE.com

These were a better bet I think plus To cover your bases the Chinese market has been showing signs of becoming "soft" on 5 letter domains as 4 letter domains have dried up.

Best of luck friend.

But trademarks are very specific. Especially

GOODS AND SERVICES

I can name Facebook Bait and Tackle and Amazon Fruits and Vegetables Inc

Trademarks are specific. To goods and services.

WWE = WORLD WIDE EXPORTS INC.
WWEUC = world wide exports united carriers.

The OP domain is too exact and close to the actual TM holders name.

So even if you can manage to squeak by, what good does it do you? Who is going to buy a 'ucwwe' domain? And you can't develop a wrestling related website on it...so what good is registering the domains? Why bother taking the risk?

One word. CHINA! Boom!

It's full of people trying to grasp the next big thing with money to burn.

You simply point them to the WWE WEBSITE

show them what the original poster had mentioned.

Tell them that abbreviations are safe because impossible to trademark for anything

Plus the incoming boom of 5L domains.

They will buy.

Remember China is a country where shop keepers in full view of gov offices sell fake Louis Vuitton handbags and Tiffany silver chains and Rolex watches.

Plus the sale domains like

"Golden sands".com in IDN for $45,000 just because it could be sold someday for big money to SANDS casino.

And remember

Luckily my domains contain a C for China so anything is possible.

World wide exports universal China
united China world wide exports

Worst case scenario?
Point it to naughty content of which I am an affiliate of. Whoever doesn't want it pointed to that content can contact me to buy asap.

Anymore questions feel free to ask. I'm here all day.

Thee only risk is IF I do wrestling content or fighting or sports of any kind.

I know my TM rules I just got my company name trademarked. So I know.

I guarantee you this domain will get traffic.
All I have to do is read the minds of WWE fans and give them content they will love. What else could WWE be into?

NASCAR? Lol?
Survivalist nut?
NRA?
guns and ammo?
Sexy content?
Drones?

Just pick 10 affiliate programs. Stick the links in a rotating script. Encode on your website so Everytime someone visits they get a different offer.

Point it at the wrestling website!? Please tell me you are kidding? That would be an open and shut case of infringement. And it's not "one word," it's a collection of unpronounceable letters. Can't see much of a demand for that.

No of course not? Not point the domain silly.
But the via email or whatever never on the promo material.

You say unpronounceable letters yet a company like WWE chose to use WWE all this time

And mine only has two more letters added to it.

If the OP is correct then thee obvious choice is going to be thee exact initials.

With some Proper SEO wouldn't this domain get pulled up in the same results as WWE?

WWE
WWEUC
UCWWE

I predict WWEUC will end up right below but on the same page. I think I will become a bass pro shops affiliate or maybe NASCAR for this domain.lol

You're comparing apples to oranges. WWE stands for something. It has existed for many years, hence why people know it by it's initials. Just like NFL or NHL. But ucwwe? No one would have a clue what that stands for and I couldn't even guess how you would pronounce it. Unless you really develop this as a popular fishing website or something, I don't see it selling for much undeveloped.

Well I only got UCWWE for coverage. If I only had WWEUC which is the one il really banking on. Interested parties might go with UCWWE instead since it is available for hand reg fee.

The only reason this was registered is obviously related to the famous wrestling company. This is an obvious TM issue.

Adding "Universal Championship" after "WWE" just make it more infringing.

No Value.

I think they should have made Big Cass a champ. He has everything suitable for a Champion. Kevin Owens and Seith Rollens are too boring. And what you guys think of the Brock Vs Goldberg match next Wrestlemania.
