Very Important

During the next several weeks be VERY cautious about opening or launching any e-mails that refer to the World Trade Center or 9/11 in any way, regardless of who sent it. PLEASE FORWARD TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW, "WTC" STANDS FOR THE WORLD TRADE CENTER. REALLY DANGEROUS BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL OPEN IT RIGHT AWAY, THINKING ITS A STORY RELATING TO 9/11!

BIGGGG TROUBLE !!!! DO NOT OPEN "WTC Survivor" It is a virus that will erase your whole "C" drive.. It will come to you in the form of an E-Mail from a familiar person. I repeat, a friend sent it to me, but called and! warned me before I opened it. He was not so lucky and now he can't even start his computer!

Forward this to everyone in your address book. I would rather receive this 25 times than not at all. So, if you receive an email called "WTC Survivor", do not open it. Delete it right away! This virus removes all dynamic link libraries (.dll files) from your computer.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE!

(this was sent to me by my friends uncle, who works in a computer business wich relates to the government, so i av believed an trusted him)

Did you check the message for virus'?

It's usually crap like this chain letter style email that you need to watch out for.

It is a virus that will erase your whole "C" drive...

Sorry to tell ya, that even on insecure Windows systems, the entire C drive cannot be deleted while running ;)

Since where talking about viruses,

my computer has been totally messed up everytime this program gets on my computer (I have no clue how it got on in the first place)

Its something like Kavarspy Anti-Hacker 5.5 (I do not remember it perfectly, but that should be good enough so if you see it you will reconize it)

Once you get it, and you restart your comp for the first time after receiving it, it automaticly slows down your hard drive, It took me 2 days to click start>Control Panel>Maintenance>System Restore

So if you ever see this on your computer get rid of it right away.

Also, heres a tip:

Every once and awhile i goto start>Run and type in msconfig
then goto startup and see what programs are running on the startup of my computer, if you see any suspicious files that you do not reconize, uncheck the box and scan for viruses

I think that would actually do the trick, even if system files are in use by system processes :)
