What do you guys think of .ws?

I want to register a few but I'm not sure about how successful the tld is...

.ws is not very popular or valuable at this point. That being said, if you can pick up a top 500 keyword for under $80 I'd do it.

If you are looking at speculating on 2 worders then save your money. There are hundreds of good one word .ws available for ~$40

You should know that you can't transfer .ws domains between registrars (a rule set by the registry; no way around it) and I really don't like that. They stay at the registrar they were originally registered with until they drop. This has kept me from buying or registering .ws domains ..

I can't see much potential in the .ws extention so personally, I wouldn't waste any money on that extention

I see huge potential in .ws, godaddy is behind it and they just have to get their act together.

I bought prices.ws and photographer.ws for about $200 ea. - can't even get those keywords in .in for less than four figures.

From a dev perspective its a really cheap tld. However, I agree with duceman about only one worders.
