I need your appraisal on the domain WPDEVELOPER.COM that I own for more than 10 years.

# 11 lettered name
# NO Hyphen or Number
# 12 years old
# EMD for WordPress Developer
# No copyright infringement from WordPress / Automattic as they recommend to use WP instead of WordPress in domain name
# Phonetically sounding name (I use to say the domain name to my clients over Skype / voice call & they access the site without me repeating the name again)

I get a decent target audience traffic through which I get leads for WordPress projects.(I don't / haven't spent money in promoting , so I don't get tons of traffic)

A perfect fit for a Web Design firm specialising in WordPress like mine.

** I'm not looking to sell this domain or site as it gets me decent business revenue, just wanted to get my domain appraised.

Isn't WP open?
If legit, it's definitly a good name. I've worked with wordpress before, as developer. There's a huge market for tutorials, troubleshooting, plugin developers, theme designers, etc.
Check if there's trademark issues, but I think you're clear.

I have been owning this domain for almost 10 years without any issues.
I checked with WordPress before buying this domain
Please read the details https://wordpressfoundation.org/trademark-policy/ , it clearly says WP can be used in domain name instead of WordPress.

You have to provide a valid proof if you do any claim.

putting a WordPress related service on it

now you or your buyer is going to spend money and time on that domain name project

in 10 years the owner of WordPress decides
that it's a great idea to trademark WP for WordPress
if they haven't done so before

Please do not use derogatory words

I truly understand your point , but that is not going to happen , because they themselves have clearly mentioned that
The abbreviation “WP” is not covered by the WordPress trademarks and you are free to use it in any way you see fit.

They can never turn their words & the legal system will definitely oppose their move.

Probably when WordPress goes out of business or lose its value in the market , then it might impact the value of the domain & its owner. Again this is not a legal point to afraid of.

You seem to be deviating this thread & trying to hijack my thread with unwanted comments.
Better avoid posting comments , if you are not interested to appraise my domain.

In all the comments you have posted , you have never appraised my domain , rather giving all false claims about trademark infringements etc,.. even after providing detailed proof.

wpdeveloper, is not located in the USPTO database! This means that no one else has trademarked the term wpdeveloper ... yet!
