# No copyright infringement from WordPress / Automattic as they recommend to use WP instead of WordPress in domain name
# Phonetically sounding name (I use to say the domain name to my clients over Skype / voice call & they access the site without me repeating the name again)

I get a decent target audience traffic through which I get leads for WordPress projects.(I don't / haven't spent money in promoting , so I don't get tons of traffic)

A perfect fit for a Web Design firm specialising in WordPress like mine.

** I'm not looking to sell this domain or site as it gets me decent business revenue, just wanted to get my domain appraised.

WordPress in the domain is the trademark problem.
Infact WordPress suggests to use WP instead of WordPress.

You would see the following in that article posted by WordPress Foundation itself

It all depends on how the end user sees it.
In my opinion without a solid website behind, this domain does not worth more than mid $xxx to a reseller.

or your buyer?

putting a WordPress related service on it

now you or your buyer is going to spend money and time on that domain name project

in 10 years the owner of WordPress decides
that it's a great idea to trademark WP for WordPress
if they haven't done so before

then you are f****ed

For them to have rights they would have had to register a TM for "WP" prior to the registration of the domain WPDeveloper.com......they can't just register a mark and then claim rights against the owner afterwards...many companies fail to realize this and end up losing UDRPs as the complainant.

As per the value of this domain name.

One of the best tools for myself is criticism.

You are right , but the trademark infringement arises , when someone uses the trademarked word or domain in the same industry to confuse customers by competing with the trademark owner's business.

Fortunately this is no way going to infringe any trademark or copyright , because this is purely used for WordPress services & if someone claims to trademark WP for WordPress , then the Automattic company that owns WordPress will take legal course of action against them.

Anyway these argument seems to be off-topic of my domain appraisal thread.

So guys please provide appraisals if you have any & lets not argue / discuss that deviates from the purpose of this thread
