Wow totally confused..

My Mother and I got hammered and decided to buy domain names. For no real particular reason.. a few small ones.. now we have 200 and I don't know what they are worth if anything at all..
I'm going to list a few here and you can tell me if they are worth anything... or not.

Yeah I think I just tossed out a ton of money didn't I.. anyone think of anything I can do to make my money back... Just paid 9.99 each but 200 later it adds up! lol

p.s-> Dachshund breeder--- and Whippets too.... have plenty of dogs.. just dont these websites went completely overboard on them... Dont worry wasnt trying to cut in on your "domaining" action...

Your first post asked for valuations, so I'll answer that: sorry, don't see any value to any of them, and no value in forwarding them to your main website/s either as they won't receive any type-in traffic so they won't send any measurable traffic to another site.

Makes me cringe to see you spend such a huge chunk of money, drinking or not, on unsellable and unusable domains. Wow... $2K!

If you're not going to buy any more domains then we don't need to give you any advice about domaining, just a valuation on these ones. If you ARE going to try for more domains, then put your credit card/s in a safe and give someone you trust the key and tell them not to let you have them again until you've read about domaining for at least a month solid

Sorry for the bad news. Expensive domaining lesson! Friends shouldn't let friends drink and domain. Next time get a designated register-er in the room if you plan to drink anywhere near a computer.

Looks like your 'spree' began way back in early July and continued until early Oct, so it's too late to ask your registrar to delete them and send you a refund (that only works for a few short days at Godaddy)

Why couldn't you ask a few sensible questions before registration I am very puzzled by! You threw away a lot of money -- may be the buzz that you & your mom got out of it was well worth it, but I would have tried going to Vegas instead!

Before you buy any domain name, ask yourself, “Would there be many people who would want to buy it and put it to good use?”

If you have no way to identify a market, that is make contact with at least 100 very good prospective buyers, don't buy it, unless it is TRULY noteworthy, memorable, clever, short, and meaningful.

1) Go to your registrar control panel and delete the names that blatantly infringe upon famous trademarks.
2) Remaining names - Turn auto renew OFF. Turn forwarding OFF. Change nameservers from NS43.DOMAINCONTROL.COM and NS44.DOMAINCONTROL.COM to NS1.SEDOPARKING.COM and NS2.SEDOPARKING.COM.
3) Go to sedo.com. Open a new parking/sales account. Add your names. Set the buy-it-now price for each name to $2500 USD. If you are very lucky you will sell one name and break even.

Only domains there you could build a site on is - MarilynandJFK.com or JFKandMarilyn.com. An info site about their history and relationship might get traffic.

The rest are pretty terrible. Do what ecalc suggested, but vary prices. Then read NP's!
