Great sale indeed. The guy who won it was acting like he is drunk or something. :)

Nah. I'm watching online. :)

BTW, I think the guy who won it wasn't the phone bidder. it was the guy in the room (next to the guy who offered the bottle for the winner).

This domain was registered in 1997 & parked at Sedo with no content for years.

Makes you wonder if development is at all worth the trouble!

Obviously, this domain sold because of being a rare LL.com.

Yes, I know that :) and I did hope he come back with a new bid. Auction's getting hot now.

Its worth its weight in gold.

Guess where google gets most of its revenue from?

Its more than just a LL.com.

they gotta lose that buffoon and send him back to the ranch where he belongs, awards or no awards

im reading a lot of people in diff. posts simply cannot watch that bloke, brainache.

The name sold for that because of the meaning of the term, without that it would be a sub 100k name. The winning bidder was Directi, I'm guessing they'll be announcing a name change for their parking program soon.

How much does a domain name weigh anyway? :)

If I recall, Ad.com did not secure even one bid ... in the September '08 Traffic Show, IMHO. :|

I'm sure there are posts/threads here that can confirm this, as well.
Congrats to the seller!

About as much as a Henway.

What a beauty! I can see this name plastered large on billboards driving through Detroit or any other major city

1.4M is under market, in my opinion - great for the buyer, but I wouldn't have sold it for this price, if I was the seller.

Great sale for a very nice ll.com with meaning

Frankly prior to this, the auction was looking like a bust. Few $xx,xxx sales and lots of no sales. Great sale here - the buyer should be thrilled to get this kind of doh in this market.

For a $1.4M domain I hope they are doing more than just rebranding a site parking service.
