I have installed Google's Analytics WP plugin in one of my site but was having problem with it (some API key I think).

So is there any other reliable Google Analytics WP plugin other than Google's own plugin?

If you want to install GA to a Wordpress site, why not just hard-code the tracking code? Your theme might already have a custom field for it, check your theme settings.

You can also, go to the appearance > editor > footer.php file and copy/paste the code right above the closing </body> tag.

If you use premium themes then try Theme option -> Footer script, just paste your tracking code there (get it from your google analytics page)

Appreciate your response @Fliporium.

So if I add the GA code manually in the footer.php file, it will be fetched by every current and future web page of my WP site?

Yes, because it's in the footer. All your pages should fetch the footer.php file to build each page.

Try Google Analytics by Yoast.
For me, this is the best plugin to track your WordPress site easily with asynchronous Google Analytics tracking code.
