Okay so I have been developing the website SHIRTSAYS.com slowly but surely.

I have worked off of the "Gallery Pro" theme, which I edited.

It uses "NEXTGEN Gallery" to auto thumbnail images I attach to the posts.

I have been noticing for a long time that SOMETIMES when you go to certain pages images don't load.

ON IE it gives me red X's for image not available. On Firefox it just does not show the image. If you just reload the page USUALLY the images show.

Anyone have any idea what could be doing it? I am going to guess maybe it has to do with another plugin I am running interfering but it just seems weird that a refresh will usually help all images to load.

It seems completely random as to what images are not showing. Also sometimes the images dont show on the actual post as well. Any ideas? Any help? Thank you.

It sounds like some images may have failed for some reason. On one of the images that don't appear in IE, right click and click on "view image" to see if they are actually there. Also, check the file path settings in NextGen. And finally the permissions on the folder(s) they are uploading to. If NextGen has categories, sometimes image scripts will make categories as sub-folders and those sub-folders sometimes won't be readable on the server, so look for that as well.

Another time I had a problem like this is when I was uploading .png or .gif that weren't really .png or gif (they were renamed .jpg files). Firefox was showing them and IE was not.
