WordPress Modifications

Hi,

I need some modifications done for my wordpress powered site.

What I need:

I have installed in a plugin called GD Star Rating to enable my users to rate venues in the city. Problem is, I don't know how to customize it. For example, if you check out one of the bars pages: http://no_url_shorteners/2ekam6j

You can see I have setup my 'multi review stars', which is what I want, but... it's also including the row of stars, as well as the thumbs up and down (which I only want to be displayed on the comments).

My second problem is, I sort of want the stars to be shown in the comments field also, so when people rate it you can actually see who rated what... I think this is easily achieved. Sort of like http://www.awardwinninghosts.com/review/site5

I could get the WPreview plugin for $97 but I don't really want to pay that much for something that should easily be achieved via this plugin. Please leave me a quote, I am looking to get this done ASAP, and if job is completed successfully I have more work.

My other problem is, I don't know how to enable the widgets on the sidebar of my site for this plugin, as you can see on the right hand side: http://no_url_shorteners/2c4jwyn

Seems they don't show in sidebar till they get five or more reviews.

Not sure I understand exactly what you want to display where.

Are you saying you want the stars used to submit ratings to appear only in the comments field?

What about people who want to rate something without leaving a comment? Do you want that to not be possible?

Well, I wouldnt want this to be possible, and instead just use the 'comments' submit button to maybe submit all the values. I just find that most review sites tend to put them both in the same area, which I know this can be easily achieved with a little bit of WordPress knowledge (something I don't have).

However, when the review has been submitted I wanted it to display both their comment and their rating, like that site.

Hi to do this you need to modify the theme file - so if you change themes you need to modify the new theme.

BTW the thumbs up /down can be controlled in Settings / Features / Plugin Features
