Hey everyone!!

I'm after a plugin that would let me sell my script on my wordpress blog. I am after a plugin that doesn't use carts, but rather has a "Buy Now" button for users to press, pay then get the file.

I don't mind if it's paypal or any other platform.

Any idea what free plugin I can use? I saw some premium ones, but I would rather start off with a free one.

Thanks

I tried that, but I'm having some permission issues at the moment.

And how do you set it to a buy now option? Because whenever I did, it wouldn't show the button.

If you're fine with using PayPal, and don't want a cart, why not just add PayPal's BIN button to the page/post and be done with it? You don't need a plugin for that.

For something slightly more advanced, I've used Simple PPSC on multiple sites, and never had an issue with it.

Hey Frank,

I am selling digital files, how would I link a BIN buttom with the download of the file without a plugin?

Also does that plugin support a BIN button or is it just a cart?

Thanks for your advice though :)

Oh, ok. So what you're asking is how to manage downloads. I would think that setting your post-payment URL to the download link would do the trick; the obvious downside being that your dl link is then subject to being broadcast across the universe.

There is a paid variant of the simple PPSC plugin that handles digita very well from what I've read -- unfortunately I do not have direct experience with using it, but have been very pleased with the standard version.

You might also have a look at DukaPress.

Both of these plugins use the cart system. I am after something where the user can press a buy now button and pay straight away.

Or is it easy for a lot of users to use the cart system?? See for me, I believe that a cart system would be relatively hard compared to a BIN button :\
