[RESOLVED]Wordpress database help

Hi all,
I think this could be please I should request the a wordpress database related issue.
I've never used windows admin panel (Elefante) to install wordpress before.
But I successfully installed wordpress with elefante script.

Now the problem is my client want to me install wordpress 2.6.2 version for security reason. I uploaded the wordpress 2.6.2 version, made a database and configured the wp-config.php file. ....now the browser showing this message when I'm trying to reach the site:

Error establishing a database connection

Can anybody help me out of this situation?

have u edited the config file properly ......it would be better if you could post the top part of it regarding the database
