i won an auction in a very known site almost 1 month ago and till today the name wasnt given to me
ive been sending emails to the owner (it wasnt an expired one) but he didnt reply me, so i contacted the site some days ago cuz this name was put in an auction (that ends today)
as the site where the auction run didnt solve the problem i tried to find the owner of the domain w a whois and :bingo: his phone and emails were available, so i called him (from brazil to another country by skype) and he begun speaking in his mother language and after i speak in english he said: "i dont understand english" but after a few words he spoke in english i explained him the situation and i sent him an e-mail...
he replied telling me he put a reserved to be met but the site ignored and he told me he sent an email to this site telling he doesnt have to pay cuz the site ignored the reserve he put and thats why he put the name again in an auction in another site (ALWAYS IN A VERY GOOD ENGLISH); in this email he also asked the site to refund me
i sent a 2nd email to him asking if there is a reserve in this auction and his answer was: "No there is no reserve price on the XXXXXXXXXXXXX auction
(XXXXXXXXX does not have this option)." and i know, you know that this site allows a reserve price
this domain is a VCVC.com and if u r bidding in any of them PM me cuz i wont give his name, email, etc YET
im trying to avoid problems for NP members cuz ive called the site where i won the auction and maybe they can do something to avoid this 2nd auction or avoid the transfer of his name (i dont know what the site i won the auction can really do)
i wont mind if i dont have the name but he isnt being honest (i think) and his answer telling the site doesnt allow reserve price was the proof cuz all of us know and this site allows reserved prices... but of course i want my money back (and it wasnt a great amount at all)
what is best thing i should do?
