I personally like the .io extension, but I do not think this has much re sale value.

I found a couple of previous sales below

wives.net 320 USD 2016-09-08 NameJet (courtesy of Namebio)
wives.co.uk $1,501 (courtesy of Godaddy)

Listed prices below:

Uniregistry: wives.asia is listed for $1,295
Sedo: wives.co.uk is listed for for 950 Euros
Sedo: wives.net is listed for 888 Euros
Sedo: wives.co is listed at make offer

On a side note wives.com is a adult porn site......

Your best bet would be to look at development, if you have the time, resources and inclination for it.

I would personally list at $800 and accept anything from $300 +

Godaddy Value: https://uk.godaddy.com/domain-value-appraisal look to the right and scroll down for similar sales - do not base your valuations on what they show you though!!

Sedo: https://sedo.com use search function and see if other extensions are listed and their prices

Uniregistry: https://uniregistry.com will tell you how many extensions are taken for any given name and might have some listed for sale (wives for example is taken in 31 extensions and wives.asia is listed for sale there)

You can also check out afternic, Godaddy and Namejet and see if your names are listed in other extensions and at what price......
