Reg fee at best -- it has potential TM issues, plus it has distinct negative computer-virus connotations.

It depends to buyer. It has great pontential.

The reason is..

Google:
Results 1 - 10 of about 27,800,000 for win32

Tutorial site can be developed (with this domain name)
for people especially IT Student
who want to learn or understanding something about Windows API,
win32.exe, virus, "how to make windows more faster", Win32 Programming, etc....

Also, www.win32.info can be the symbolic of showing
thousand information about any windows.

Statistics from w3schools.com, at January 2009,
The windows family counts for over 90%.

Windows is the most popular OS. Thats why it has great pontential.

Microsoft is "happy" with it? You spoke to them yourself?

You're wrong, unfortunately -- I just checked and Microsoft owns two live trademarks on "Win32," so they could take that away from you whenever they felt like it.

Just because they haven't taken it away from the owners of the other extensions doesn't mean it's free and clear either. Sure, maybe you could get away with developing it and not having it taken away, but wouldn't you rather use a domain name that you can feel safe that it wouldn't be taken from you?

And if you're just in it for resale, you'd be very unlikely to get anyone to pay you very much for it given the above.

trademark rights generally arise out of the use and/or to maintain exclusive rights over that sign in relation to certain products or services.

Definitely your dog's name does not infringes with the trade of microsoft so they cannot take it away but if you or someone you are trying to sell to is using it for Win32 which is offcourse the trade area of microsoft they can definitely take it away.

I think big company dont care even if you develop this type of domain or park it.. But once your site get popular or began attracting visitors, they will take your domain.

I would suggest stay away from TM as far you can..

Take TM's name is risky.

its zero even without the TM issues. Its not a good reg as a .info. and the TM issues kill a possible low xx value.
