As I was saying above, that they'll go for prisoners first as nobody gives a toss about them - it seems they're starting already, this side of the pond:

"Prisoners To Be Chipped Like Dogs"

http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/politics/article3333852.ece

Notice how they mention sex-offenders and paedophiles, that's because most people will think it's a good idea for such 'bad' people. But it'll be our turn eventually. :(

I wouldn't rule it out for me personally. I'd need to know more.

Watch those video clips in the first post, and then see what you think. You really trust the authorities to use this technology wisely?

Read your Revelations, specifically "Mark Of The Beast". I don't believe in God and Biblical stuff, but bloody hell that's a bulls-eye!! :)

And in the US:

Rhode Island children to be "chipped like dogs".

They are only planning tracking devices at the moment, but when the kids lose them - and they will - well, it's only logical to go for implants next. This conditions people to the whole idea of being monitored 24/7. Baby steps. :yell:

http://www.sott.net/articles/show/147138-US-Rhode-Island-School-Children-to-be-Chipped-Like-Dogs

The FDA have approved implants, but they obviously haven't taken account of the latest research on rats. Tumours apparently grow around the site of the implant. Nice.

So, so far the plans for implants - and those already underway - are:

1 - Babies and children (to avoid abduction).

2 - Government workers, Police and Military (for security)

3 - Alzheimer's patients (for safety)

4 - Prisoners (public safety)

5 - Cretinous volunteers who think it's cool.

It'll be our turn soon.

If you watched those clips in the first post - and do some research - you'll understand that 'crime prevention' is a crock. So is using them to stop terrorists. Weird how nobody suggested we needed to lose our liberty when the IRA were bombing Britain. Or when German and Spanish terrorists were wreaking havoc in Europe. Hell, we never lost this much freedom during WW2!

They are building a huge DNA database (illegally) of people who have committed no crime. Kids can't even go to the dentist over here without having their dna stored on the database.

These chips are very easy to hack, and have been, so they ain't gonna keep us safe, whether they are in these 'ID Cards' or implanted in the body.

We are being catalogued. :'(

If the crap really hit the fan and our lives were on the line, I'd get chipped just long enough to buy supplies, food and a good fishing pole (already got the guns)... then I'd cut the b*tch out and disappear with my family.

Even talking about this fiasco playing out makes me cringe. It's similar to the feeling I get when I think about the National ID Card or the Gardasil vaccine and the possibility that they may require mandatory vaccinations by the time my daughter is in elementary school. WTF is wrong with our country! Everyone seems to be slowly forgetting all the freedoms that our forefathers SUFFERED AND DIED to establish for us. :yell: :'(

Parents can already by watches for their kids with inbuilt GPS tracking, so the Rhode Island issue isn't anything new. The title of the article is misleading - they are not chipping kids like dogs - they are putting chips in their backpacks. This issue is one for the parents, not the school or the government.

On some other points raised (above) - next time you go to the supermarket and pay by anything that's not cash, you might just find that you data is being stored, analyzed and sold to 3rd parties. This type of data is called "scan data" and is often purchased by product manufacturers.

Ugh... don't even get me started on Gardasil! It literally makes me want to be ill. Rather than teaching our children about safe sex... let's just shoot 'em up... yeah... sounds like a great idea :td:

Well not everybody is firmly opposed - that thread being an example. And remember all it takes for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing :)

The highlighted part above is one of my many pet peeves. As often said "freedom is not free, but bought with the blood of those that fought for it". In my own case, this "forced chipping" would not happen without getting a formal introduction to one of my best friends, Mr. Glock, and some of his friends.

It really worries me that almost all of our freedoms that were purchased with the blood of our predecessors are now being freely surrendered without so much as a peep.

I can see the benefits for implanting health and identity chips.. if I were in an accident and unable to talk, it'd be nice to know doctors had access to my info.

For financial records, it'd also be nice to wave my hand at the atm and get my $$.

But I think that could all be accomplished with something similar to the USB flash bracelets.. no implant needed.
