Hi,

as Figure 01, Tesla, Amazon & now (as reported) Apple is building robots for your home,

what do you say, what is the best spelling / naming for them`?

HomeBots
or
HomeRobots?

Or something else?

What about Home Droids, or Home Cyborgs...?

Hopefully they are not de facto cyborgs (living organisms). :xf.smile:
Yep,
no need for living (or self aware) bots at the moment :xf.wink:

Just want to say, they can be called anything...

Helpers as well or whatever.

I'm going to call mine Roxanne...and yes, we will keep the 'red light on' as she wears her special dress (don't hate on bot love!) :xf.love::sneaky::xf.wink::ROFL:

I voted robots but I think they are both excellent.

I also wonder if there is a slight negative association with bots (you know, all the click that you are not a bot, experience), and maybe Home Automation sounds more positive? (but yes, long)

Hi
lol
brings back memories of an old rap hook
roxanne, roxanne...i wanna be your man

maybe they'll use names like "hbot/hrobot or eslave, iservant, homebutler, ehazel :) etc.

btw: when the bots break down, i'm holding botrepair com

imo...

That are some interesting, creative names to call a ... ro/ bot

When I seached yesterday for 'Apple Robot', almost every single article headline contained the terms "Home Robots" or "Home Bots".

Hence, thought I ask the community ... ;)

Don't forget, they turn red when they are 'bad' ... :nailbiting:

That's an undisputed rule.

I voted robot, but I don’t think ‘bot’ will hold a negative connotation in this sense. I think they’ll probably be used equally.

Only have RobotSpecialist in com that I’ve been holding a while, Wish I had a few more.
