Will be gone October 31th-??

Just letting everyone know in advance that I'll be away from the computer starting October the 31st.

I am having a somewhat major surgical procedure done on October the 31st, which will require five days in the hospital, and a few weeks of bedrest.

Not quite sure how long I'll be gone though, but I sure will miss this place while I'm away!

Just thought I'd let everyone know, even if it is a month in advance!

I am sure things will go fine. The worst thing that is somewhat likely to happen with the surgery is that I will need a temporary colostomy.

I am trying to get the surgery scheduled for an earlier date, but without any success.

Okay. The date has changed.

Surgery is sceduled for the 19th/20th.

Will actually be going in the hospital at around 3pm on the 19th, and the surgery will be the following morning.

As to what happened to me, not much happened.

Was born with crohns.

Diagnosed a few years ago.

That caused a few other issues due to it being unknown and untreated, such as my inability to gain weight, and various other intestinal issues.

One of those which I hope to get corrected when this surgery comes about.
