Wikiproxy.com - Need some tips!

It's been almost a week since www.wikiproxy.com is live. It's actually my first attempt to an online lucrative website, and one thing I know is that the success of lucrative businesses depends a lot on the website's design. I need some of your help in improving the design! Please be hard on me, any feedback appreciated!

I think the site looks good but you could be in deep ripping off Wikipedia's site. I am not going to even review this because I do not condone what you did.

Am I really infinging any copyrights? I mean, MediaWiki, the script that runs Wikipedia is an open-source script isn't it?

It is the exact logo and everything. If wiki found out about it I am sure they would not be happy.

No - you are not. I have seen several, several sites with the Wikipedia layout, etc. I'm not aware of the entire story - but I know it is legit.

Even if it is legit...I wouldn't go to it. Why make a site that is so similar it will make the user think of that site instead of yours? If you were to compare Cola to Coca-Cola people would think of Coca-Cola in most cases rather than Cola. That is why smaller companies never compare their products to bigger companies.

I'd use it at school because if a teacher looked at a glance they'd assume it was wikipedia. Nice idea!

In response to PCWebAdvice, I was inspired to make this site by the like of WikiQuotes, WikiNews, etc...all affiliate branches of Wikipedia; they all use the same design but each have very specific content that is described very clearly in the website's name (quotes, news, pedia, and proxy) which can not be compared with Wikipedia, like Cola and Coca-Cola can.

And thank CWN for confirming this, I have to say I wasn't very keen on receiving any complaints from Wikipedia should I infringe their copyrights.
