Most of us probably know the Wikipedia.
This is a community service that creates an enormous wealth of information.
Unfortunately it is a http://google.com/search?q=StayPoor community.
(At least economic income is not created in an official way; I heard of ghost writers, who get paid for writing articles ...)
In contrast to this: NamePros is a community to create and share wealth, based on domain trading.
The only Wiki that explicitly encourages and supports its members to prosper appears to be http://aboutus.org. It operates on a highly developed MediaWikiEngine like the Wikipedia, has a large userbase and an open-minded staff to support OpenBusiness. It claims to be the MySpace for domain-owners, collaborating in an amazing way with a zillion of users. Last not least it offers free membership, just like NamePros.
NamePros.com and AboutUs.org could work in tandem to produce giant synergies, when addressing the estimated 200 million kids of the OLPC (OneLaptopPerChild) project of the MIT.
These "kids" (6-18) all over the developing world get a laptop with Internet access for free and of course want and need not only access to knowledge but also to economic participation.
Imagine 10 poor kids buy a domain-name, develop, promote and sell it via the NamePros.com community in concert with Aboutus.org and so can happily cry many times :sold:
Wouldn't that make us happy too?
