I'm looking to sell this domain soon, and I want your guy's opinion on the estimated value.

Thanks

Trademark Infringement. It's not worth RegFee.

No, Wii.us was registered on Jun 9, 2004, whearas the Nintendo Wii name wasn't even announced until April 27, 2006.

As for value...I'd say that last year was the best time to sell. Not really sure how much it's worth right now.

Disagree with the above. Nintendo doesn't go after these, it seems.

Make it into a fansite. You'll be huge. Perfect name, especially with how the Wii has taken the US by storm.

Well then, looks like this guy's got a good one. I retract my last post. Like the other guy said, make it into a fansite, or a site that gathers up online players and/or tournaments and you'll make a load of cash. Good luck.

I used to own NintendDSLite.net and NintendoDSLite.info, so I contacted Nintendo's legal department for permission... never got a response. Obviously they don't care.

IMO, mid $xxxx at least... good name!

It IS still TM infringement even though it was regged before nintendo announced the wii unless you had a company called Wii operating on the site before nintendo's announcement or if your name was Wii before the announcement. Nintendo doesnt seem to care that much about people having names like this though so I still think it has value. $1,xxx.

Visit this link and you'll see it wasn't till 2006 when Nintendo registered the Wii trade mark, but they weren't the first anyways.

Unless Wii.us infringes on the Wii trademark in any other way, which would then be seen as being in ill faith, it should be ok for other uses. Sorta a catch-22 with this name.

Put it up in the High Price Domain forum and see what offers you get.

I would not pay an xxxx ammount of money for a domain that's maybe or maybe not a TM.

It's a risky investment...

Imho, low xxx.

I would value it at mid to high XXX because it is a meaningful LLL dotUS. Good luck

Somewhere between $3000-$5000. I doubt it would go into the $xx,xxx range even though it is a killer keyword. A fansite is definitely the way to go.

Seriously, I think this is up there in the low $xx,xxx. I know everyone is saying TM issues, but their are Pokemon game sites/fan sites/etc making TONS of money and Nintendo doesn't do ANYTHING.

Mid X,XXX - high X,XXX Domain name. I would develop the hell out of it and then maybe sell the domain + site. Great potential!

nice domain 4k-5k range I think.

If you find a gamer freak with some more cash.

I cant see some one paying 20k but, as their are a few risks, sure even if its regged before that date they would probyl still sue.

I say around $7k

Aside from the TM chat I would tell you to develop it. Even a simple blog format would do you well. Having it set up for someone to run it as a fan site could be a little more profitable than just the domain of course.

Nice pick.
