Do you understand why people bump the thread for NOTHING?

- The thread is empty with no information - they closed and BUMP?

- The name(s) are sold - they closed the thread and guess what? BUMP the thread.

and many other cases when they Bump the thread to the Top when there is nothing to see or buy!!!!!!

Random Possibilities:

A. It didn't actually sell and they are making one last attempt for someone to contact them directly to try and claim it if the other buyer backs out.
B. They feel that bumping it with a SOLD or No longer for sale (Blank) post is a good way of notifying any watchers / thread subscribers that the domain is no longer available.
C. They are taking a final punch at frustration for the domain not selling.
D. They are making one last push to brag about making a sale.
E. They think that an edit out doesn't take effect unless another post is made after the edit.
F. It was a long night and they hit the wrong buttons.
G. The cat ran across the keyboard at the time.
H. They left the computer on to take a break and their children discovered it.
I. They spilled their coffee in their lap and the flailing of their the arms resulted in accidental posts.
J. Their dog ate their homework ..... (Wait, never mind, this one was supposed to be an excuse for something else)

At the end of the day, it's hard to really be able to pinpoint why a lot of things are done the way they are.
