.tv Why would this happen

why would my name, attach.tv go from 75 uniques a month to 205 uniques for sept (and sept aint over yet) when i did nothing to promote it or anything- why does his happen? just out of nowhere? is this stat glitches or something?

well, i think it more a mistake type thing, no? i mean, that post itself had nothing to do with attach.tv- it has to do with attaching a tv to a wall or something- that doesnt count i dont think

All I can say is that my "primary" names are getting more and more clicks. Heck, even my goofy names with things like tv.tv and tvxxxxxxx.tv are getting more clicks.

It happened to me as well but in 2 char. CC

from 10 uniques per month and now have 2000 uniques in the last 32 days and more than 300 clicks.

what i mean is- isnt it like "fake" traffic? when something like that happens, its not really people looking or that name, it kinda was part of somrthing else-

i wonder about that, when people get high traffic on names that they are not exactly looking for that name- you know what i man? isnt that just temporary fake traffic? so, like if that post had to do with my bump in traffic, as that thread is less read, my traffic should go down, corect? than, to me it isnt exactly true steady traffic, right?

I looked at attach.tv and I noticed that SQL is the main keyword. I have a domain with word+SQL and it get some decent traffic. It is probably temporary but I'm not sure if it is faked but its more than unlikely IMO.

It may not be looking for the name attach but it seems to me that the center of the gravity isn't attach but rather database related i.e., SQL

Where is this name parked? If its at sedo, it comes as no suprise. I think they do something funky with traffic there. Im not sure if they syphon it off or what. But my .TV names there fluctuate dramatically - only at sedo. Retiring.tv goes from 200+ uniques to 30 back to 200 down to 25 and back up again. I have about 5 other names that display the exact same behavior, they are all .TV and parked at sedo. When at namedrive I do not get that fluctuation. Not sure if .TV is odd in traffic or its the geniuses at sedo. I remember when I had shenyang.tv it was getting 40-70 uniques and out of nowhere it went to 2000 hits a day. I also have butthole.tv which was getting 600 uniqes, then 80, now like 150, my traffic is all over the place and there seems to be no method to the madness. All I can say is try parking it at different places and congrats on traffic!
