.tv Why people should develop...

if all people try to do is just resell their dot tv domains then the public will not care for dot tv at all. Develop the best of what you have, make it look good and have fun with it. If it shows on your page...most likely the viewer that goes to your dot tv site will enjoy their visit and blab to everybody what they saw. If its just a "for sale sign", that just hurts the brand equity of dot tv even farther because what they saw is not worth telling their friends, coworkers or family about.

Dot tv does one thing and one thing well if done correctly... entertain people with a cool interactive video experience. That's the power I'm talking about !

Most .tv owners here have developed one or a couple of their .tv names already, although I agree the underestimation (also by me) of the importance of it.

It's a pity you didn't develop your nakedwomen.tv, just let me know when you do as I like to check that one out

@tsnave69: What's .tv sites have you developed so far? I took a look at your sig, but I don't see much...certainly nothing to "tell my friends, family, and coworkers about" anyways.

Seriously though, yes it's true that we need to develop some good sites so that people become familiarized with .TV...but I still don't understand why you're so vehement on the subject if you haven't done any developing yourself? :imho:

I have 50 under development and a significant advertising budget to drive traffic to mine. It is just not enough to build them, you must also have a way to promote them.

I'm saving up some more spending power from my regular job. If you want to see an old worksource of what I have in plan for one of them then click on www.nakedwomen.tv/tvdomain.html. Time is what I'm fighting aginst. I'm not outraged over anyting... if I came across like that I apologize. I just meet too many people that have so many domains that only want to be a reseller thats all.

btw... when you go to that page, click on the tv on the left and a new window will open---this is the video interface I was working with in flash... something different. It takes a few seconds to load then a sample movie starts playing. The cool thing about it is that it is tri-specular... meaning that it has 3 viewable modes when you click on the movie 3 different times. Plus the video is dragable as well. I got some major changes I have to work on and it will be faster to use.

It's all good. John really really LOVES his wife. She has a sense of humor and is understanging... very very understanding (***cough.. cough... hopefully***cough cough). Yep...er...
