Why NNNN so valued?

Why NNNN domains valued so high?

I think that's because there are a few NNNN (10x10x10x10 compared to 27x27x27x27 LLLL or 37x37x37x37 CCCC) and because it's plenty of famous chinese sites with "all numbers" domain names.

I personally like NNN domain names: easy to type (number-pad) and to remember.
