Why my post is not posted?

I joined the forum yesterday.
Last night after registering, I posted one or two posts, but none of them were published.
Is there is a grace period until I will be able to post and published?

Does moderation take a certain amount of time? I'm new to posting at NPs and new to domaining in general so I was just curious. Thanks!
