Hi,

I don't know if this is a bug but when I click to see my posts to see how many posts I made today and what time the page is not updated, for example I made a post a few minutes ago and the last bump I made is not shown in this page : https://www.namepros.com/search/860148/?c[users]=Domain+Pro+Seller&o=date. This has been happening the last 2 days. The issue usually is solved in itself many minutes/hours later. Note that I have never hit the "refresh" button since I joined NP and it worked fine until 2 days ago. Also, I see that my impact number has increased by 1 but it still takes many hours to see who liked my post / which post someone liked when 2 days ago there was no such issue.

Has anyone else experiencing this ?

I can confirm that there's a delay sometimes.

Normal browser page refresh/reload won't work, but the native blue Refresh button on NamePros can be considered a workaround. It's a bit counterintuitive and you can easily overlook that button, but it works.

This may be another issue, with the Alerts notification stream.

In simple terms:

There are various events that can occur on our end that will cause the page to automatically refresh for you, as if you hit the Refresh button. However, itโ€™s best to use the button yourself to control that refresh behavior more consistently.

In somewhat technical terms:

The results of that search page are cached. There is a limited number of hardware space dedicated to storing all of these caches. The faster that space fills up, the faster that page will automatically refresh (as if you hit the Refresh button) because the cache was deleted to make room for new caches.

When we increase the storage size for caches, or there are less searches on the site, then it will take much longer before those search results refresh themselves.

We hope this helps.

Thanks. I like both explanations!

It sounds like someone anonymously gave you a point and then you accidentally associated that point with a Like that occurred several hours later.

You wonโ€™t receive notifications for anonymous point changes that members do using the up and down arrows.

You'll only receive notifications for quick replies.

I don't know...today I saw that my impact has increased but I had not received a notification. I thought there was a glitch because afterwards I saw that this like was done yesterday and not today and I thought the notification was just delayed. I may have been confused because I was upset about the other issue but if it happens again, I'll let you know, thank you
