domain Why It is selling 22278.com

Hi,

I am searching godaddy auction today, and find out this, crazy domain 22278.com and thinking why the hell people are bidding on this, there is 30 bids on this domain...

but my mind got total confused. why would someone buy it, and why the hell someone purchasing it.

Lowest Bid by Bidder 1 : 10.03 USD
Highest bid by Bidder 10 : 14000 $

Questions going in my mind:

1. If suppose, this higesht bidder wins the bid, how he gonna profit from it.
2. Why this domain is purchased by registrant, whats going in the mind of the owner while buying it.
3. Where to check the minimum bid price listed by owner, at the time of listing the domain in auction.

You must first learn why short numeric domains are valuable. A 5N.com ending in 8 with triple repeating numbers and no 0 or 4 is pretty rare and therefore an attractive domain to investors.

Learn by looking at sales data on shortnames.com.....
