Why is Namecheap not cheap

Yes, I know. Support, design, hosting not cheapest. But why Namecheap have "cheap", but not cheap?

I only know of one extension that is cheapest with Namecheap – .io. Othar than that and a few promotions they are Godaddy #2.

Although they used to have some really cool promos on ngTLDs, for like $6 per 5 years, but that seems to be a thing of the past.

Had everything with them for years, been transferring over everything to porkbun when renewals come up.

NC still has good support, but their renewal fees are just about godaddy levels and the UI has become bloated
