Why i bought 300 domains in one month

simple :

i believe in domaining

since i am back from a long world trip i motivated 4 friends to invest in domains
some of them got good traffic at Sedo ( @Sedo ) so i got back on fire and registered 300 domains in one month and the traffic says i am right :xf.smile:

more than 13.000 klicks so far

most of them are registered at Epik , Dynadot , Namesilo and so on

next year i will go outbound and promote them

Even big players in domain parking are exiting..the party seems to almost getting over IMO
Your posts seem a bit robotic in terms of statements.

Can you explain which big player in domaining is exiting, how do you exit parking?

Usually certain domains continue to just make earnings, year over year, and others trend on Incorrect marketing, or new trends, or viral campaigns.

Your statement like some others is just filler, adds no substance, or credibility behind it.

There are still people who make 4-5 figures per month via parking. Lots of generic, and industry keyword that earn.

You can also still use parked landers, with for sale, or contact details stated within that page.

Your first graph shows near zero traffic for almost all year and then a huge spike of 12,000 visits this past month. Did you have no domains until now or where they not parked or something else ?

"Every" freshly registered domain gets traffic in the first few days / weeks. But the traffic comes from spammers trying to hit you with tons of offers IMO. Good luck tho.

On the domain parking exit, I read an article recently here on Nampros, I think from tldinvestor website but can't recall the exact title to search it out for you now to read through.

If your counting on sedo for parking going into 2020, along with the fact you can’t identify, or properly engage your inquiries you have already lost in this space.

Your just hitting your head against the wall, who cares about bot traffic, it’s the names that count.

It’s caliber of the 300 names you bought, I believe Mike Mann purchased about $100k in the course of a few days once.

Plenty of domains get a lot of traffic, little clicks, no conversions, no inquiries.

Yes, selling landers will be a tiny fraction of parking. Also with selling pages, now and then you will see many names hit the same day, that is some kind of bot or api or someone looking for keywords.

Parking isn,t my thing - i really need to learn about that

do you get distracted? what is your main business? is it selling domain names or parking? your potensial buyer might get wrong impression if they visiting your landingpage and found some advertisement on it....

agree

many just parrot what they read or hear, and know very little about the issue they reply to.

one can park and still get offers via those parking pages,
parking also may provide enough $ so they won't have to sell as much or as often.

imo...

From my little Experience :

If you park them via Sales Lander on Sedo ( to get a chance of Sedo MLS ) than the traffic is running better than parking via :
Auto Select ( Crushed Boxes ) Just Ads or Sales Crush where Sedo has all these Ads

Sedo does include bot traffic in the stats. That's why now I am experimenting with bodis.

These are not 13k clicks... Real clicks here are ... its traffic from 10-12 domains of my country extension..

Wow Michael(n) You sound a lot like me....that's not the business model you're suppose to follow. You said something about most of your domains are for the financial services industry? You mean to tell me you're plan is to "go outbound and promote them"? What are you thinking? That's not the way it's suppose to be done:xf.rolleyes:

I see my buddy Monster chimed in and likes your strategy, but while you're planning your outbound promotion you need to spend a little time positioning them for "inbound":xf.wink: Hey, I don't disagree with that advice, but I'm currently working on "outbound" strategies for the likes of the financial services industry, the healthcare industry, the real estate industry, the restaurant and food services industry etc.

Of course I'm here in the US where I can touch and feel the pulse of millions of "end users", and while you say your English is just so so, I believe we could communicate well enough to help each other.

Oh, just one more question...are the majority of your domains hand reg'd or other? What was the "average" cost you paid per domain? The reason I ask, in order to accumulate 300+ domains covering a particular industry in 30 days, there's no way I could/would buy them at auction like the typical way domainers buy names.

Regardless, I wish you the very best and while you've been around this industry longer than me, I'm sure I could help you with your "outbound" strategy. Again, Good Luck:xf.grin:
