This is a short story about E-commerce.
once upon a time the dot com was king and everybody was going crazy about launching their dot com, if you have a time machine you can easily make billions of dollars (if only i bought facebook domain in 2003 :D )

Again it kicked with the cryptocurrency domains i heard Crypto dot com was sold for $12 Millions !! people are going nuts or what !

Anyways this is the era of E-commerce, and if you own a domain that can target a specific niche market then you own a gold-mine.

Dropshipping, Ecommerce, Multi-Vendor Platforms are taking over the whole buy and sell industry, and i believe the future is very promising to these industries along with the classifieds.

I am telling you this story because i own a domain name MUMSSTORE com which serves the keyword of Mums Store and it can certainly offer Mums Products (including Home, Garden, Babies, Toddlers, Cloth and more) E-commerce website.

I would like to know your professional opinion and appraisal of MUMSSTORE

Thank you

A million eh?

I believe you are incorrect in your assesment.

First its MUMS, not MOMS - strike one.

Second it's a double SS - strike two.

Third, its STORE not shop - strike three (shop has a higher value on the web than store)

Personally I think you will have a tough sell on this one if you are thinking anywhere near that sum.

You might be able to get $1000 if you heavily target potential buyers.

Here in the states we say "mom", momsstore.com is taken but doing nothing. Also nobody is going to spend a HUGE amount of money for a generic domain like yours when they could easily buy a perfect domain for a few thousand dollars or less.

Not worth much. If it is for the flower, mums.com is owned by Belgian Mums. You would be better off developing an actual e-commerce website for this, building sales, then sell it. Still won't be a million dollar name. The name by itself doesn't have any value.

The good news is that youโ€™ve smoked something amazing. The bad news is that the domain is worth $100 on the best day.

Welcome to NP

Sorry, can see any value in this one

Its been available to register for the last 30 years and nobody has snapped it up, you registered it this year and think its worth a million $, unfortunately domaining doesn't work like that

There are hundreds of sites (ebay, amazon etc) out there selling mums products so unless you have a huge budget to compete with the big boys, this just wont happen

Your best option is trying to flip it to one of these developed sites, even though yours is "Mums" not "Mum"

mumstore.com
mumstore.com.au
mumstore.cn
mumstore.ru
mumstore.co.nz

Good luck

Try a Godaddy Appraisal, should be around $1.300.000.000.
Still, you might get a fair xxx if you reach out to possible end users as you reached out to us but with a slightly downgraded price tag ;)
Good luck!

That was the best reply I have read on Namepros in 2018. Well played Sir, well played.

It maybe worth more than $100 but lots to consider also. My guess is you looked at mums.store at about 3k and 6k renewal which will never be sold on those prices. Need to consider brand protection mumstore without a plural. There are also possible tradmark issues due to dot com .au development and more......
I do think it is possible to get low $xxxx providing there are no tm issues etc but it is no way undeveloped worth anything near a million.

I thank you all for your kind replys, I know the domain is not and will never be near the 1 million value unless it generates sales on an actual e-commerce website.. the million was a metaphor to High Value.

Mums not Moms will easily target UK
Store is still a good option even Shop is far much better i do understand this,

i am not arguing anything in here i truly appreciate your feedback and your kind appraisal.

the thing i ask about now is do you think it worth the hassle to build the E-commerce website on it?

You need to re-read the posts, there are so many trademarks on Moms and Mums that you have to do a lot of research before launching any kind of commerce site.

In my opinion the domain is not strong enough to develop into a site on it's own unless there is a specific plan and whatever you are selling is not similar to what is already on similar stores.

Double SS isnโ€™t good. Mum versus mom. Not worth a lot.
