The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
flippa is bad.
so are the fees.

join gd auctions for $4 a year.. and try their free 7 day auctions .. you can start them at any amount.. or pay like a 1$ to start at min and put reserve.

I think this will give u much more exposure

gd is not #1 most used registrar for nothing. its where everyone goes.

flippa is kinda deadish.

It depends on the quality of your holdings and your target pricing.

Flippa is full of not much but domainers. If you are a 'flipper', it may be perfect for you.
But if you are more patient and are looking for the end user with a quality name, you need to have listings with Godaddy and/or Sedo and perhaps others depending on the geographic target of the name.

But there is no one size fits all for these investments. I always use 2 platforms for every name.
I no longer use godaddy and also use some version of a sales lander on 90% of my names.
But what I do may not work best for others. You must figure that out for yourself.

If you have a great name, you do not need to try to sell it. They will find you.

I think perhaps that used to be true, but they seem to be falling out of favour with domainers over the last year or two.

I think the best platform likely changes depending on what type of name you're selling. But all-in-all, if you're putting your name up for auction then I wouldn't expect many end users to see it unless you're doing the work of directing them there yourself.

As a general rule, don't expect to get an end user price from an auction.

Flippa is mostly used by SEO specialists...
So if your domain has no any interesting SEO parameters - don't even waste your time here...

Its all depend on your domains names which names you listing, if you have quality names than they will sell.
All matters Domain price and its reserve price..
I notice when you make reserve price huge than no anyone make bid but if reserve or starting price is reasonable than may attract buyer for making bids.

Always They banned users while submitted all documents. Now I am not working with flippa because I am banned while I submitted all of my IDs proof. I mailed several time but always getting negative response. Flippa sucks.

If you have not received any offer at flippa that's not mean flippa is bad because many seller making good profit through flippa.

I meant to say that flippa being bad is not in any way connected to how many offers I do or do not get there.

it is something you will discover on your own as you continue with domaining. beause that's what everyone discovers as they continue domaining.

have fun

I am using at the moment, trying my luck I have spent $9 to get listed one of my domain name for auction and after 25 days no one even tried to bid on it. Again, I spent another $9 dollar recently with another domain name still hoping. Im seeing a total of 7 viewers as of this day. I believe there is no much traffic in flippa. What do you think?
See other listing on flippa and there many buyer making bids, its all about quality name hand reg. Very tough to sell

I am using NamePros and you can find my record. We are simple domain investor and seller. We only need a platform but flippa is showing their strictness while documents are in his hand.
I will provide a example for you.
Suppose you have domain like xyz.com and you are trying to sell it with flippa. No problem but in case you are banned and you sold xyz.com seperately to others and 1 day he decides to use flippa and he'll list same domain xyz.com then what ? My dear friend he'll get banned. Thats All.

Yes you can use only one account.
You can't make more account on same IP.
If both documents and IDs are different family members ? They must continue at least one account with the respect of proofs.
