Why does it take time for traffic to pick up?

I've noticed that it takes at least a couple of weeks before the traffic to any new domain picks up.

Many of my names that are earning around $.50-1.50/day did not have any traffic for the first two weeks. After that, traffic picked up automatically.

Why do you think this happens?

probably your domains are getting listed with some of the search engines, who are you parking with ?

You would be lucky to get any traffic to newly registered domains. If you are using a service which allows input of meta-tags or actual content to the parking page. It takes time for the search engines to index these domains. You might be getting additional visitors after the domain is indexed by the search engines.

its all type-in traffic for what I know (hence the high CTR)

Also, any typos that I have get traffic only after a few days.

Why so?
